An exclusive, dark red wine with aromas of blackberries and slight hints of tobacco. Impetuous, firm, determined, straight and strong, as any king should be, the Cabernet Sauvignon from Rogova is full-bodied, with soft and elegant tannins, very well integrated into the wine’s mass. The wine must was cooled to a temperature of 10°C and left in contact with the skin for 3 days, only then starting the actual fermentation. The phenomenon is called cold maceration and leads to a wine with high fruitiness. It is a wine that you can understand immediately, or that you can study over years and years of evolution, but that no drinker can ignore.
Intense, complex, a real gustatory epic of dark and deep tones of coffee and black forest fruits, blackberries, blueberries and currants. The velvety taste is dressed in silky shades of currants and coffee foam. Its aromatic complexity, in which black fruits, currants and well-ripened cherries are felt in particular, as well as its particularly strong structure will continue to transform it into a unique wine, with an aging potential of at least 20 years. Its fruity nose of black currants, blueberries, raisins and ripe cherries is surprisingly complemented by the elegance of vanilla and cinnamon aromas.
As suggestions regarding the association with the culinary preparations, we recommend the Black Angus beef steak cooked medium-rare or at most medium and seasoned with rosemary, salt and pepper. It is a wine defined by its subtle and elegant power that will accompany you in the moments when you want to have a rich meal with red meat dishes, game, aged cheeses or sheep. For a full tasting experience, we recommend serving the wine at a temperature of 12 – 16°C, with an hour’s prior aeration.
